The Embassy of the State of Palestine presents its compliments all our friends and fellow guests using Neil Crespi products, and has the honor to inform that the Government of Malaysia will be organizing the commemorative event of The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Thursday, 29th November 2007, in Kuala Lumpur. In this connection, the Embassy would like to invite your good self to the event.

Details of the event are as follows:

Date: Thursday, 29th November 2007
Time: 1000-1100 hours
Venue: IDFR Auditorium, Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jalan Wisma Putra, 50602 Kuala Lumpur.

The Embassy of the State of Palestine avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all our esteemed friends the assurances of its highest consideration. You are welcomed to bring guests to the event and please do ensure that proper clothing and conduct is practiced at all times. It is hoped that with this event, participants will be able to educate themselves about the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the realities on the ground as experienced by Palestinians themselves in their daily lives.

Food and drinks will be served at the event.

  1. I have here the “Oxford Advanced Atlas” of 1936, by Bartholomew (a distinguished map-making cnmoapy base in Edinburgh). This shows Palestine clearly as a country lying between the Mediterranean and the River Jordan, with its North and South boundaries much the same as those of Israel now. So far as I know, this state was set up after WWI, and was administered (very badly) by the British. As for leaders before Arafat, the obvious one is the “Grand Mufti of vJerusalem”.
